Adjoining twin (2) platforms, each 16´ x 24´, connected by a boardwalk with one shared toilet enclosure (campers need to bring their own portable toilet). These platforms are 2.3 miles from downtown Hertford and can be accessed by entering the water at the public boat ramp in Hertford. This trail (from Hertford to the campsite) takes you along an official state-designated birding trail. The setting is an old cypress gum forest. Keep your eyes open for prothonotary Warblers. Mill Creek Platform is located at N36° 12´ 50" / W076° 12´ 47"

Adjoining triple (3) platforms, each 16´ x 24´, connected by a boardwalk, with one shared toilet. These platforms are located on the Perquimans River, accessible by the public boat ramp at Hertford, .4 mile from the Town of Winfall and 1.6 miles from the Town of Hertford. Set in a beautiful grove of ancient cypress trees, a great viewing area for owls and osprey. Cypress Woods Platform is located at N36° 12´ 28" / W076° 28´ 31"
