| May 22, 2010 | Roanoke River Paddle − Roanoke River Partners, Mid East RC&D, and NC Paddle Trails Association are pleased to announce this paddle beginning in Plymouth, paddling Conaby Creek and ending at the Wildlife Boat Ramp on NC 45. | | May 29, 2010 | Paddle the Perquimans Riverfest − A Paddle day will be held at Missing Mill Park, which is sponsored by Historic Hertford working with the Perquimans County Trailblazers and the Albemarle Paddlers. There will be two outfitters there to rent equipment from (Kitty Hawk Kayaks) or you can bring your own kayak or canoe. | June 10-13, 2010 | NC Paddle Trails Association Annual Meeting and Paddle, Chad Pickens, President of the North Carolina Paddle Trails Association, along with Tom Potter, Exec. Dir., and myself invite you to join us at the Haw River State Park just north of Greensboro from June 10-13 for Paddle Workshops, Social Events and some Paddling on the Haw River. The park has accomodations in cabins for only $79 per night which includes 3 meals, hard to beat that! Or you can rent a campsite and rough it. | September 17-19, 2010 | New River Paddle Expedition - Post Office Patty from Dare County has asked me to plan our next camping/paddling expedition for the New River in the northwest mountains of North Carolina. The River has campgrounds along the riverbanks so I am working on a 2-3 day event paddling a long stretch of this beautiful mountain stream. There will be a little white water, but I think you can handle it ok.
